Sidrah Sisters
Sidrah Sisters is our community for women. Here sisters come together to strengthen the bond between them and to grow in their identity as Muslimahs — through gatherings, talks and shared experiences in a space that is theirs.
We hold events with mosques and student communities across the country, so a sister can find somewhere to belong wherever she lives. What we care about is not the size of the gathering, but the friendships that continue long after it ends.
A space of her own
Sisters need somewhere that is built for them — not an afterthought to someone else's programme. Sidrah Sisters is that space: gatherings where women can speak openly, learn together and build friendships that hold, without having to be a guest in the room.
We work with mosques and student communities across the country, so sisters can find a gathering near them rather than travelling to one city for everything. What matters to us is not the size of the room, but who is still talking to each other a month later.
- Gatherings and talks created for sisters, by sisters
- A focus on identity and confidence as a Muslimah
- Hosted with mosques and student communities across the country
- Friendships that continue between the events, not just at them
